Lets Go Blues!!!!!

Since i was little i have been always a die hard Cardinals fan, Rams fan, and even Blues fan. I've gone to quite a few games not as many as Cardinal games. I have also been wanting to go to more Blues games just never had the time or the money. But, lately here i have been able to go, since i have a car and a job now that naturally comes with money $$$ cha ching. Last year i only went to 1 game and they won that game in a shootout. This year i have gone to 2, first game was won in regulation, the second game was won within the first minute of OT(overtime). Have not yet gone to a losing Blues game. Hopefully my undefeated streak with the Cardinals this summer carries over to the Blues this year.

The Free Weekend

A few weekends ago i went up to my dad's in st.louis. He lives about ten minutes from downtown, in Jennings, MO. To start off i had to work that friday and because i don't get off until 10 i just drove up the next morning. Well the next day, on saturday, there was a concert called KHITS Rockin Cholestral. My dad's friend Kelly got us tickets, because we know people that know people. the artists that performed at the concert were the Khits all-star band, Starship, and eddie money. We later found out that Foreigner was suppose to be there, but they got Starship instead. Starship blew Eddie Money out of the water that night, and Eddie Money was the Highlight band for the night. After awhile at the concert listening to the music, because of the wind we say a few V.I.P passes fly right to us. So, we made use of them and gain access to the V.I.P area and got free drinks and free beer, but it was a very cold night. The next day we got free tickets to the Cardinals game which happened to be the last game of the season. My dad got ahold of these from the bar he goes to, so they invited us and got us free tickets. That ended a very good day with a Cardinals win, me and dad polished off a huge IMO'S pizza when we got home.

Undefeated 12-0!!!

In what might have been my first post I had mentioned that over the summer I went to ten cardinal games and they won every game. Well, I went to a blues hockey game a couple weeks ago and they won too! Then I started to ponder and think about last hockey season back in February I went to a blues game and they won then too. So after having a few moments in deep thought I realized that since that blues game in February I’m still undefeated with a record of 12-0 this whole entire year. I wish I could think back to all the cardinals, blues, and even rams games I’ve been to my whole lifetime, since I was little. The last game I just went to a couple weeks ago the blues played Pittsburgh Pirates and went into overtime tied 0-0. The blues then scored with 0:50 in OT. I thought how ironic is was that the blues play such a long a hard game and then score in 50seconds of OT.

Fallout 3!!!!!

Alright, thanks to my one of my best friends, Zach Fields, who is my next door neighbor I am addicted to Fallout 3! The game is just F****** amazing, from watching Fields play it I saw how to go about the game. I already in my mind start thinking of what I was going to do before I even got the game. It's a post apocalypse game and you were born in a Vault, which is an underground base to stay safe from the war and radiation. I believe the game is based in 2060 or so. Your father escapes the vault and goes into the wasteland; the game sends you out there to find him. You encounter aleins, mutants, zombies, raiders, built towns and villages. Your Karma is based on how you are. If you take the evil way of doing everything, such as path of destruction, stealing, and killing everyone and anyone. One of the towns u first encounter is a place called Megaton, named after the giant nuke sitting in the middle of town, u can decide to blow it up or diarm it. A game highly recommended!!!! A++++

Accident Prone

I swear since I was a baby I’ve been dropped on my head. Throughout my life I have always gotten hurt or hurt myself. First one I can really remember is when I was, lets say 8 or 9, me and some friends were playing backyard football. I was playing quarterback and I ran for the first down sliding, as the NFL players do. Well I sliced my left knee on a rock, grandma had to take me to the emergency room and had 15 stitches. Next that comes to mind is when I was 10 I was riding my bike. O yeah I can see all of you reading this and thinking what the heck am I going to do now? Well to add to me plus the bike, it didn’t have any brakes on it. So me plus bike plus no brakes equals disaster. When I wrecked I bounce my right forearm on the curb of the pavement and blood was dripping everywhere. Instant tears, because of a hug gash in my arm that you could see down the bone. Well this time I was with a babysitter, my mom’s best friend, and she called my mom and rushed me to, you could’ve guess it the ER. I left the hospital with 18 stitches in my arm this time.

Rollercoaster Kind of Week

Ok so this past week started off alright and everything was going great. That's when I noticed my girlfriend starting to back away from me or see a distance growing between me and her. On Wednesday is when week became really crappy, after getting out on all our classes we went to her house. That’s when a couple hours later she broke up me she talked while I listened, didn’t know what to say. Then the next day me and my best friend Zach Fields went up to Belleville to see our long time friend Nikki's new house she got with her other friends. But, before driving up there I went and got gas and filled up all my other fluids. At the gas station Alex Lankford walks up to me and proceeds to have a conversation with me. Well I guess he forgot I hate him for screwing me over right around April. So, after that I picked up Zach and we drove up there. We sat out on the front porch laughing, joking, eating pizza, and having a great time. Then the next day which is Friday now, I have to work, and I work at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester. I was put on the biggest hall, with the most residents, and working with the lowest person ever! We were behind on everything, getting them up for supper, feeding them, getting them dressed, and finally putting them in bed. That was the worst and longest niter at work ever. Now, yesterday was Saturday and I had plans with friends to go out and airsoft on such a beautiful day. But get this, the other team of guys we were going to play backed out on us again. Lucky my little siblings were free so I went up to Belleville again and picked them up and we went out and ate at steak and shake which ended my weekend and felt better.

A Night at Work

Alright, so I just got home from work at Three Springs Nursing Home right now. It started off really slow and then ended up being a really good night. My day started off at eight in the morning to go to church with my girlfriend, Kellie Van Sant. My shift started at two in the afternoon and as soon as we get there we have to hand out linens, take vitals, and pass ice. Usually we don't have a lot of people working in the evenings let alone a Sunday evening. There was seven of us tonight working, two each on a and b hall and then three of us guys working in the back on c/d hall. So as we normally do we have to make some fun out of the night. We serve supper at 5:30 to the residents and then start getting them into bed at 7:00. With three of us guys working in the back were done by 8:00 and had an hour until rounds. Who was working housekeeping was Travis Johnson a.k.a Tonk. We are having a good ole time joking around and everything. After awhile we got the bright idea of taking a glove and filling it with shaving cream and then blow it up. Later we took it to the girls in the break room, popped it, and it went everywhere. We were stuck there a few extra minutes cleaning up, but was well worth it.
